Jerry Reed

Jerry Reed is an award-winning leadership, project management and agile instructor, speaker, author and co-founder of PMplicity. He has trained managers, senior leaders and technology workers from AT&T, Optum Rx, Netflix, SpaceX, Google, Boeing, the United Nations, Blizzard, Disney, and several PMI chapters, including the Puget Sound, Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego chapters. His international training includes virtual speaking engagements at PMI chapter events in North India, Bangladesh, and UAE (Dubai). Jerry’s original, content-rich, high-energy programs are well-researched and presented in a professional and engaging style.
With over 25 years of project management experience, Jerry has successfully delivered over 100 enterprise level projects, using both predictive and agile approaches. As a senior technical project manager with AT&T, he played a pivotal role in AT&T’s strategic initiative to virtualize its network. Using hybrid agile and predictive methodologies, he virtualized network elements that monetize traffic between AT&T and other carriers. By successfully managing this multi-year, beachhead program, he delivered AT&Ts first successful instance of end-to-end connectivity for a virtualized network function and built a template for future network virtualization projects.
Mr. Reed has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois, at Urbana-Champaign. He is a PMI Authorized Training Partner Instructor for the PMP exam, a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Certified Scrum Master, a Microsoft-Certified Professional, a certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner and a marathon runner.
Jerry has taught leadership, project management and agile courses for over 15 years at UCLA Extension, PMplicity, and currently at AMA. He has earned the UCLA Distinguished Instructor designation, a distinction awarded to their top 2% of instructors. He has served on the UCLA Project Management Advisory Board, co-founded PMplicity, and authored the Microsoft Project B.A.S.I.C.S. book series and REMOTEtional Intelligence.

Yolanda Reed
CSM, Certified Graphic Designer
Yolanda is the Co-Founder and Vice President of PMPlicity®. She is editor, seasoned administrator, graphic artist and certified Scrum Master. As Chief Administrator, she oversees project management, product development and quality assurance. Yolanda is the “secret sauce” of PMplicity. She maintains strong client relationships and is the primary liaison for PMPlicity partners and distributors, including Amazon, Apple, Vimeo, Barnes and Noble and UCLA.
Mrs. Reed has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a graphic design certification from UCLA Extension. She has also authored the Microsoft Project B.A.S.I.C.S. book series and REMOTEtional Intelligence.
